*NOTA: A lo que llamamos "abertura" es lo que se conoce como "trapeze width" o ancho de trapecio, que se refiere al espacio que se forma entre las paredes que conforman el yoyo, osea, es el espacio donde va la cuerda y donde hace fricción con el sistema de respuesta.

El Loop 1080 vio la luz en el año del 2013 siendo parte de los yo-yos lanzados ese mismo año en la colección de YoyoFactory nombrada como Champions Collection, el cual fue el yo-yo de la super estrella japonesa Shu Takada que en el 2012 se convirtió en campeón del mundo. Contiene todas las mismas caracteristicas del yo-yo favorito de Shu hasta ese entonces, el Loop 900. YoyoFactory y Shu trabajaron en conjunto para hacer posible las mejores al Loop 900, dando como resultado al actual Loop 1080.

El yo-yo tiene aun el muy peculiar y revolucionario sistema de ajuste del gap que tenia el Loop 900, con la diferencia de que la ubicación del punto de ajuste se cambiaría al centro del yo-yo. También se bajo el peso y se redujo su diámetro. Se achataron los bordes del yo-yo para hacerlo mucho más estable a la hora del loop.

A pesar de las mejoras del viejo Loop 900, y que le dieron vida al actual Loop 1080, sigue siendo latente el hecho de que suceda un accidente debido a que su más grande atributo es también  su más grande defecto... el sistema de ajuste. Aun se tiene el inconveniente de que el yo-yo se abra, aunque es muy baja la posibilidad de que se abra dado que para el Loop 1080 el tornillo del eje se aumento para que el sistema de ajuste del gap no le quite agarre al eje cuando se cierre el yo-yo y así disminuir la posibilidad de que el yo-yo se abra a la mitad del juego. Ademas el sistema de ajuste es susceptible a barrerse si es golpeado, forzado o muy usado.

Este yo-yo representa a la nueva era del los yo-yos para looping, ya que su muy fácil manejo, su peso indicado y respuesta regulable, lo hacen sumamente versátil para todo aquel jugador de yo-yo que incursione en el mejoramiento de sus trucos. Es un yo-yo para jugadores intermedios y avanzados, requiere el mantenimiento base, y si se quiere una mejor respuesta se aceita y mejorara considerablemente. Sin duda es el modelo mas versátil e indicado que hay en el mercado, simplemente una joya.

The Loop 1080 was born in the year of 2013 to be part of the released yo-yos for the collection of YoyoFactory named Champions Collection, which was the yo-yo of the japanese super star Shu Takada. In 2012 he became world champion.

The loop1080 it contains all the same features of the favorite yo-yo of Shu, until then, the Loop 900. YoyoFactory and Shu worked together to improve the Loop 900, resulting in the current Loop 1080.
