Resultados y vídeos del World Yo-yo Contest.
El primer día fue la preliminar de la categoría 2A, de la cual participaron 9 jugadores y solo calificaban los primero cinco lugares. Quedando fuera Matyás Racek, Hsing Yu Lin, Jan Bubák y Ben Mcphee.
Calificados: Yasushi Furukawa, Shuhei Kanai, Tomoyuki Kaneko, Hiraku Fujii y Jong Ki Yoon.
El segundo día, se llevo acabo la final de la categoría 2A, cabe aclarar que en esta categoría los ganadores de los nacionales pasan sembrados directamente a la final, por lo cual, se agregaron 4 jugadores más a los 5 calificados de la preliminar.
Los cuatro sembrados fueron:
1.-Takuma Yamamoto. (Primer lugar en el National Japan Yo-yo Contest.)
2.-Joseph Harris. (Primer lugar en el US National Yo-yo Contest.)
3.-Lui Man Ki. (Primer lugar en el Hong Kong Yo-yo Contest y China National Yo-yo Contest.)
4.-Dave Geigle. (Primer lugar en el German Yo-yo Masters y en la European Yo-Yo Championship.)
*NOTA:El ganador de la Asia Pacific Yo-yo Championship, Shinji Saito, tenia la siembra para el mundial, sin embargo, por cuestiones ajenas a él no pudo asistir.
Results and videos of World Yo-yo Contest.
August 7, 8 and 9, 2014 in Prague, Czech Republic. It took place the World Yo-yo Contest. This was the first edition where the World Yo-Yo Contest change of venue, and from that year, they will alternate venues for many more players can participate and expand of horizons of play on a global level.
The first day was the preliminary category 2A, which participated 9 players and only qualified the first five places. Racek Matyás, Lin Yu Hsing, Jan Bubák and Ben McPhee left out.
Qualified: Yasushi Furukawa, Shuhei Kanai, Tomoyuki Kaneko, Hiraku Fujii and Jong Ki Yoon.

The second day, was held the final of the 2A category, in the final, the national winners seeded directly to the final, thus, 4 more players were added from.
The four seeded were:
1.- Takuma Yamamoto. (First place in the Japana National Yo-Yo Contest)
2.- Joseph Harris. (First place in the US National Yo-Yo Contest)
3.- Lui Man Ki. (First place in the Hong Kong Yo-yo Contest and China National Yo-Yo Contest)
4.- Dave Geigle. (First place in the German Yo-Yo Masters and the European Yo-Yo Championship)
* NOTE: The winner of the Asia Pacific Yo-Yo Championship, Shinji Saito, had the seed for the world, however, for problems he could not attend.
